About

Fr. Michael Grosch is a Catholic priest and Associate Pastor of a parish in the Archdiocese of SaintLouis.  Born and raised in Ballwin, Missouri, Fr. Grosch attended Saint Louis University High School (for all the St. Louisan readers) and entered Cardinal Glennon College Seminary, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Letters from Saint Louis University.  Fr. Grosch then advanced to theological studies at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in Saint Louis, where he was awarded a Master’s degree in Divinity as well as a Master’s in Arts.  In order to complete the Master’s of Arts degree, Fr. Grosch completed a thesis in the area of Church History regarding the writings and efforts of Pope Benedict XV during the First World War.

Despite the academic qualifications that Fr. Grosch so proudly displays on the walls of his parish office, this website should hardly be considered academic.  Whatever musings appear as blog posts are ultimately motivated by love of Fr. Grosch’s parishioners and of the Church, and are merely meant to increase understanding of the mind, as well as (and most importantly) devotion of the heart.
